Leadership
Andres Taborda
Operations Manager
Andres began his construction career in 2010 in the commercial building sector. In 2016, he transitioned into the water and wastewater sector, serving as a project engineer, superintendent, and project manager for a general contractor delivering large pump stations and water treatment plants in Texas and Oklahoma. In 2023, he founded AT Coatings Services, completing more than 20 industrial coatings contracts before co-founding Up-Lift Contracting in 2025.
Duane Oot, P.E.
President
Duane started his construction career in 2013 as a field engineer on road and bridge projects with Haydon Building Corp. Since then, he has served as a superintendent and project manager on heavy civil and water facility projects. Prior to starting Up-Lift Contracting in 2025, he managed multiple pump station and water treatment plant projects as a senior project manager with Oscar Renda Contracting. Duane holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
